Zhang Xin Field Action in Tibet 1996 Size: 4 x 4 meters Action time: 1996 8 30 - 1996 9 3  Place : Tibet (Qin Zang RD) Way: Putting Tibet earth which it was ruin by construction site onto Qin Zang Rd.	As it is the most important road to connect with others cities, I made the earth square which  looks like  a Chinese character. It means "Field" and I sowed seeds into the field.  Watering it, I used Tibet River water. I spent all day doing it. As a farmer, I hope the seeds can grew-up. But this is just my desire. 1996.9.1 I worked like a farmer again. But  cars and trucks always cross my "field". I have to loose the field and water it again. 1996.9.2 I continue my work again and again. Watering, loosing. But  cars always cross my "field". Because here is the main road. 1996.9.3 My "field" became fate. The mark of "field" has almost entirely disappeared, just remains the road.
