Captive tigers from tiger farms in China have been re-introduced to special wildlife reserves in Sumatra, where they can roam free, provided that they stay within the nature reserve. If the tigers venture too far out of the reserve to be dangerously near humans more than thrice, a kill switch fitted on the necks of the tigers will be switched on.
