"2010-2011 one by one"-Shanghart group show

One by one, there are 38 artists in total, 91 pieces of smaller size artworks in different media; each work is placed at the height of 1.1m from the floor.

 

Every work just has a number beside, there is no artist’s name or caption, works are not classified by any standards, and they are aligned randomly.

 

This exhibition will become one of the fanciest views in Shanghai during the upcoming New Year.

 

 

In the past 15 years, one name by one name, one exhibition by one exhibition, one space by one space.

 

“One by one” show from 2010 till 2011 will be another collective party, will be another meeting with art, will be a time of revel which about dream and memory!

 

 

Then, what is Art? What is the Artist? And what’s the judgment criterion of art?

 

Perhaps there is no history, no names at the scene and people could judge the works with all different criterions; in the meanwhile, here, art will be like the aggregation of the sickness, dilution, issues and quests.

 

In front of the view which made up of these 38 artists, the conjectures, the fallacies, even the fleeting history is surging forward.

 

The meeting between the audience and the art will be more purely, interesting and even more exciting.

 

 

But the most important is do you feel art is interesting?

 

Are you happy with it?

 

Do you art today?
