MadeIn Company innovated a creating method based on visual media (photography and video) and presented as an “artwork”, entitled “True Image”.
The original idea has been stirred in this works. These images are not only the documentation of artworks, but also arouse audiences’ doubt of the existence of original works, and the definition of artworks itself has been endowed with more possibilities. The development of contemporary artworks on quantity and variety level is increasingly blurring the divide between the original and its documentation; it is not self-evident anymore that the artworks embody art in itself. The real works are transformed to the documentation of themselves, and it cancels itself out, both in form and in concept.
