The starting point (of my works) is the simple recognition that the body can be a container. The associations the image brings to mind may be a box, a sink, a tree, an empty room or something as small as an ashtray or a pack of cigarettes. In details we can see the essence of an object. We symbolically become “containers” and empathize with the psychological implications in Kafka’s books. Equal relations, Frida Kahlo’s courage and self-analytical skills, Susan Sontag’s critical assessment of artworks - these are all beyond my understanding of gender.

从身体成为一种容器这样一种简单的认识出发，身体的联想物盒子、水槽、一棵大树、一个空的房间，小到一个烟灰缸和一包烟。从细微处发现一个关于物的本质或核心。成为一种“容器”的象征物，体味卡夫卡在其书中所描述的心理暗示。同样对等的关系、佛里达？卡萝分解自身的勇气和才能，和关于苏珊？桑塔格对于艺术作品的剖析能力，这些都超乎了我对于性别的认识。
