This book introduces the collection of Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, mostly moved from Fukuoka Art Museum, at where they held 4 Asian Art Shows from 1979 to 1994. It also shows a brief history of Modern art and its movements from the region. Two essays by the former chief curator of the museum, Masahiro USHIROSHOJI are provided in English. Other texts are all in Japanese.
