The series of "What are they doing here?" projects attempts to foster lively communication between Chinese artists and employees of Siemens subsidiaries.

Eight artists were asked by Siemens Ltd., China, Wuhan Branch and Siemens Arts Program to create independent artworks together with the employees. Their works consist of a variety of media including photography, video, installations and concept art and were presented at the offices from September 30 to November 15, 2005 and afterwards at Hubei Institute of Fine Arts.
