Group Exhibition The Arts House, Singapore
A programme of the festival Textures, “QuoteUnQuote” curated by Jason Wee, is an art and design poster exhibition featuring memorable quotes from Singapore literature, designed by a new generation of talented designers, architects and artists. Quotes are selected from some of the most exciting new poetry, novels and short stories published in Singapore. “QuoteUnQuote” posters of Singapore literature offer visual parallels and interpretations of current literary developments, while also highlighting the design possibilities in literary print publishing.
Textures, returning with the theme "Love and Loss (and some things in between)", explores how in times of heightened emotions, words help us express our feelings and make sense of our world. Textures is a signature programme of The Arts House celebrating Singapore literature and those in the literary arts industry. It is co-commissioned with the #BuySingLit movement and supported by the National Arts Council.
