Solo Exhibition A Thousand Plateaus Art Space
On April 18th, A Thousand Plateaus Art Space will launch the first exhibition project of 2015. The widely talked about emerging artist Zhai Liang will present his new solo exhibition The Garden of Forking Paths—Author. After The Garden of Forking Paths—Reader and The Garden of Forking Paths—Comments, It’s the final part of The Garden of Forking Paths trilogy. Based on the clues of literature, by means of logical thought and visual analysis, the three exhibitions discuss about the way in which philosophy thoughts get involved in painting exploration, and present the in-depth appearance and fascinating thoughts step by step. This exhibition will present his more mature artworks over the past couple of years, also, for clues of inspiration formation process, it will analyze and reconstruct the subject factor, Author, of literary creation. This exhibition allows the audience to enjoy the fascinating paintings closely and get a fuller story of Zhai Liang’s painting methods that has been carefully constructed in recent years.
