Artists Xu Hongxiang and Liu Haichen's Residency Program in Australia "Cultivating in solitude" will be opened at the LalLal Art Museum in Melbourne, Australia, presenting the two artists' artistic creations during their residency at Lal Lal Ranch. The exhibition is curated by Mr. Jiang Mingyang, Director of the Academic Research Department of Cuppar Auction International, and presented by Mr. Tony Wen, Founder of LalLal Art Museum.
Lal Lal Ranch Artist Residency Program started in 2017, initiated by Mr. Tony Wen, aims to advocate the concept of harmonious and sustainable development of man and nature, and invites young artists from all over the world to come to the natural and pure ranch for artistic creation.In the natural pasture far away from the modern city, artists will experience the harmonious way of human and nature, rethinking the combination of humanities, ecology and art, and bringing new creative inspirations and art works, and so far it has successfully invited the participation of many famous contemporary artists in China.As the theme of this exhibition, "Cultivating in solitude", for Xu Hongxiang and Liu Haichen, the creation during the residency is like a solitary practice, carrying the memory of an exotic place, and transmitting the texture of the real world in the emotional stance of the landscape narrative.
