Young people of varying heights, occupations and genders adapted to the standard height of the space by adjusting their bodies to different degrees. The artist also participated in this work.

The work was first exhibited at the artist’s solo exhibition “Between the tides” at the Chengdu Contemporary Image Museum. Using the environmental characteristics of the intertidal zone as a metaphor, the exhibition explored the relationship between the individual and a rapidly changing environment.
