In this work, the artist seeks to construct an imagistic field of a “domestic ruin,” akin to a space long inhabited and then hastily vacated. The work presents blurred family photographs, images distorted by water damage and pressed beneath glass, and fragments of peeling floral wallpaper. Together, these visual elements form a nonlinear narrative structure, within which the viewer may discern fractured traces of identity and emotion. The unrepaired architectural space becomes a symbolic externalization of irreparable intimate relations, revealing how memory is continually sustained, made visible, and allowed to fade through material form.
