The work consists of a pair of hands cast in glass, held in a cupped position to form an enclosed space. Within the installation, a kinetic lighting element emits a continuously moving point of light that circles and collides within the palms like a persistent insect, never able to escape. In this cyclic motion, the light becomes a form of trapped energy, and its trajectory repeatedly loops between the hands, prompting an awareness of a state that resists release. Through this sustained movement, the work translates unease into a sensation that ferments within the body, as if emotion were sealed within the palms, slowly accumulating inside a closed space.
