"Metallic Language" is composed by a set of 18K gold chains, and these precious metals seem to be randomly thrown together to form a crooked English phrase: VERY RUGGED GRADES! The same as the other works of "Spread" series, the words are collected from popular political cartoons. The periphery of the graffiti-like text is tightly circled by another long-chain. The letters that appear to be roaring are thus inserted into a neat dialogue box. The old Chinese saying that a single word is worth a thousand pieces of gold is always used to describe the subtle rhetoric. Also, we modify the powerful sound as “ringing”. The "Metallic Language" transfers the invisible speech into three-dimensional objects like gold and silver, which exceptionally touches the witty interpretation of the literal meaning of the idioms. However, the puzzling weird text in format of all capital letters, which frequently appear in English comic, is stripped from the development of the original plot. The chain is put here for some purpose despite the high price. The characters are not fixed on the board. Therefore, any strikes will lead to deformation, and make it unrecognizable. Any attempt to strengthen the language and the authority falls, worse still, goes to the opposite direction.
