In Star City-Material 3, Wang Youshen puts sands and stones into his film holder, taking advantage of the gap to present the passing and moving of sands. The film holder is like a time storage and often brings a feeling of the historical complex. Wang Youshen hopes to make sands appears in the film holder in the form of historical memories. Sand also represent Changsha. The sands in the film holder exists as serious, private and historical forms. Audiences are able to regard sands and Changsha in the series of works from a rational perspective and position.
